"The Oblivion of The Cloud" is both the title of this exhibition and a poignant poem by Juan L. Ortiz, an Argentine poet born in 1896 in the province of Entre Ríos. Ortiz, deeply connected to nature and the Entre Ríos region, drew inspiration from his surroundings, much like the content of the exhibition. The project, a video and audio installation, focuses on preserving old photographs of Gualeguaychú taken by my ancestor, José Antonio Haedo, former owner of the Casa de Haedo Museum. This initiative, encapsulating the essence of Ortiz's poetic themes, came to fruition in October 2013.

His poetic spirit infuses the connection between these exquisite photographs, evoking a lyrical richness that encapsulates the essence of nature and life in this region.

Timeless and unchanging, the human experience maintans stnking similarities across generations. Despite the passage of time, the images provide a sense of continuity and grounding that transcends fleeting trends of any particular era.

For this project, I captured the ambient sounds of the flowing river, recorded directly from the river area in real-time. These recordings were then juxtaposed with the accompanying images (photos) in a video projection, creating a multisensory experience that immerses the audience in the essence of the river's environment.
