RAP was a collective project that focuses on constructing a floating map of sounds in a specific urban territory. Through the capture of sound recordings, a connection is established between two areas of the city chosen. This project explores the significance of sound in the urban environment, addressing topics such as aural policies and the relationship between urbanism and noise.

In the first edition, the significance of noise is reflected upon in various contexts, ranging from political and social perspectives to its relationship with class and urbanization. The idea of how noise can be perceived as a form of dirt or detritus is explored, and the conception of purity associated with power is questioned. Additionally, the etymology of the term "noise" is examined, along with its relation to notions of dizziness and nausea, as well as its role in the division of labor and the perception of enlightened civilization.

Through the second edition of our project we explore the urban landscapes of Buenos Aires and Barcelona.Featuring recordings from the San Martín Train, Roca Train, Subway lines E-H-B. July, August, and September of 2016. Recordings made during drifts in the cities of Buenos Aires and Barcelona between 2000 and 2003 (Walk and Fail again. Fail better in Music for Still Films, 2003).
